The Cammenga Phosphorescent Lensatic Compass is a sighting compass for land navigation. You line up a distant landmark through the sights and read its bearing straight off the dial. It follows the lensatic pattern used by the US military, in an OD green body, and ships with a matching nylon carry case. The phosphorescent markings glow after exposure to light, so you can take a bearing at dusk without a flashlight. Build And Carry

The compass body is finished in OD green, with the scales and lettering molded into the cover and base so they won't rub off with handling. The 1:50,000 map scales match the standard topographic sheets used in military and many civilian navigation courses.
