Reliable and Affordable 1911 MagI've been running 1911s for years and was looking for a reliable, affordable magazine. Checkmate's 7-round 45ACP mag has been a great addition to my collection. Feeds flawlessly, drops free, and the price is right. I've put maybe 200 rounds through it so far and no issues.
Affordable price point
Not tested extensively yet (but looks good so far)

OEM qualityFinally found out that Check-Mate is actually the company behind most "factory" magazines for brands like Kimber and SIG. So basically you're getting the exact same quality without paying for a brand name stamped on the side. Only thing is the black finish is a bit of a fingerprint magnet so I'm constantly wiping it down.
Made by the same OEM that supplies major firearm manufacturers
Black finish shows fingerprints and smudges easily
