Cotton Cleaning Cloth

The United Defense Cotton Gun Cleaning Cloth is a 12" x 12" square of white cotton terry for wiping down firearms during and after cleaning. Use it to soak up spent solvent, spread a light coat of oil, and lift carbon and grime off receivers, slides, bolts and other exposed metal. Keep one at the bench or in a range bag so you are not reaching for paper towels that shred and leave fibers behind.

Features

• 100% Cotton Construction — Cotton absorbs oil and solvent well and will not scratch blued, parkerized or coated finishes.
• Terry Loop Weave — The surface is covered in small cotton loops, the same texture as a bath towel, which grab and hold dirt and liquid better than a flat-woven rag.
• 12" x 12" Square — At about 30 x 30 cm, it is large enough to wipe a full rifle receiver and small enough to fold into a pocket or cleaning kit.
• White Color — Carbon, copper fouling and dirty oil show up clearly on white cotton, so you can see when a part has stopped giving up residue.
• Woven Edge Bands — Flat, tightly woven bands run along two edges of the cloth and give it some structure when you wring it out or pull it taut.

Size And Construction

Each cloth measures 12" x 12" and is made from cotton terry with a fairly open weave, so it is light and folds flat. Two sides are finished with woven bands while the other two are cut edges. It suits any firearm platform, since it is a general wiping cloth rather than a caliber-specific patch, and pairs with whatever solvent and lubricant you already use.
