Pull-Through 9mm Cleaning

The Otis 9mm Ripcord Deluxe is a compact cleaning kit built around a pull-through bore cleaner, a flexible cord you feed through the barrel and pull out the other end in place of a rigid cleaning rod. It packs small enough for a range bag or glovebox, so you can clean a pistol at the bench, at the range or in the field. Everything needed for a full clean comes in the kit: bore tools, a utility brush, lubricant and a wiping cloth.

• Ripcord Pull-Through — A helix-shaped rubberized core wrapped in braided Nomex, a flame-resistant aramid fiber, scrubs the bore as you pull it through.
• Rated To 700°F — The Ripcord tolerates heat up to 700 degrees F, so a barrel still warm from shooting will not damage it.
• Bronze Bore Brush — A caliber-specific bronze bristle brush threads onto the Ripcord's brass tip to loosen carbon and copper fouling.

Materials and Calibers

The kit uses brass fittings, a bronze brush, nylon bristles and a cotton mop, with the Ripcord itself built from Nomex braid over a rubberized core. It is sized for 9mm and also covers .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .35 caliber and .350 Legend bores. That makes one kit suitable for a 9mm carry pistol, a .357 revolver or a .350 Legend rifle.
