This Otis Technology kit cleans .30 caliber rifle bores without a cleaning rod. The Ripcord is a pull-through bore cleaner: you feed the cord through the barrel and draw it out, so it removes fouling in a single pass and packs down small enough for a range bag or pack pocket. It is sized for .30-06, .308, 7.62mm and 8mm, so one kit covers many hunting rifles, battle rifles and surplus bolt-actions.
