Way better than a bore snakeIve been using bore snakes for years and finally tried the Otis ripcord deluxe for my .308 and I'm not going back. The helix shaped rubber core really grabs fouling way better than a regular snake and you can actually attach a bore brush to the end for a more aggressive clean when you need it. Used it after putting about 60 rounds through at the range and it came out looking great after just a couple passes. My one nitpick is that the attachments on the end can sometimes loosen up a little if youre not paying attention so just make sure you snug everything down before pulling through. Really solid kit though and its made in the USA which I appreciate.
