East German Leather Helmet Liner
This is an original East German Army leather helmet liner intended for the M56/76 Stahlhelm, the iconic steel helmet worn by the Nationale Volksarmee throughout the Cold War. The liner features the classic six-tongue leather crown attached to a grey plastic adjustable cradle, with yellow foam cushion pads at the front and rear and a drawstring at the dome for fitting. Surplus production keeps the construction and materials true to original DDR specifications.
