This was a great tool for training and reference. It fits nicely in my ESEE Quad Pouch! The laminated material helps make the information more resilient and long lasting! If I were to suggest any improvement to this, it would be a soft back with stitched bound corners. It could still be kept waterproof with a thin coating like some cookbooks use! Great value for this and more! Buy one for yourself and a friend or loved one!

<span>Haven't used it in the mountains yet but it seem to be the one I will prefer if ever needed! very good for its purpose! with very well organized maps and charts with GPS receiver space (already done the antenne test) and pouch !!! For me there's not better option in such a short piece ! ... plus with all info with holes and string ... All this was included ! The compass was bought later on</span>

<span>I got the personal notebook edition, the first day I used it was in navigation. I was glad to have it to write down the ground way points on a map, I could read the lat long coordinates off of a nav program. That was in march, since then I've had it out twice, both for training. This small pocket book has gotten a lot of uses and isn't showing signs of fatigue yet.</span>

<span>Awesome idea but I can see some drawbacks for some people and the main one is you cant make out some of the words without great magnification, secondly, there are some nice reference drawing but i feel they are too far away from what they are related to, for example there's a nice triangle reference, but it is placed too far away for when you are using a compass in the field.</span>
