The shovel is great. Looks brand new and very well made. The case carry strap tore lose the first time I picked it up. I picked the unit up by the strap and it failed. That is the only thing keeping this from being five stars across the board. Be aware of this when making your purchase decisions.

These are awesome. Brand new, at a great price. Finish is perfect, functions flawlessly, not a cheaply made copy of this workhorse of a shovel design. I even managed to snag one on Black Friday at an unbelievably low price, now both of our cars are outfitted with these in case of getting stuck in the snow, or having to do some digging. 5 stars all the way.
