French Army Surplus Gas Mask Filter
This is a genuine French Army surplus gas mask filter built to the NATO 40mm RD40 standard. Originally issued to French Armed Forces personnel for use with the ARF-A and other service respirators, the filter features a sealed steel canister housing multi-layer filtration media designed to screen particulates and chemical contaminants. The universal 40mm thread pattern means it will mount to virtually any NATO-spec gas mask, including most commercial, modern military, and Russian-pattern masks. Great surplus filter for the pricePicked up a couple of these and they fit perfectly right out of the package. The threading screwed on smooth with no issues at all. Everything inside looked fine. Used it during a filter check with my buddies and it sealed up great. If your looking for affordable filters to complete your kit these are the way to go.
