As an actual Viet Cong Vet from that conflict. I can attest to its authenticity and quality. If you are veteran this patch has that “military smell” that every soldier, Marines Sailor and Airman knows and identifies with. Thank you guys. (just kidding!lol!) As a matter of record, (Citation Needed!) this VC patch goes with the VN Fallen Leaf patch, the same patch that adorned the ARVN Uniform throughout that conflict as a standard patch and both together makes a meaningful “Joint Operation Symbol”. I am thinking of buying the full set of those VC “Dead Leafs” because the color and the name speak to me and brings memories back to me of those dark years. We were camping in Joshua Tree National Park when I found a perfect piece of rock. Perfect because it is square. It was perfect, however there was a camp fire nearby and so all around was soot and there was a greasy mess. So my 12 year old who was going to paint the sign for our new sign (JT NP) I handed it to her and said to clean it off and paint. Well she looked and saw what I handed her and asked if she could put the dirt on the sign. So she dusted the area and applied the dirt. I loved it so much that I have a 13 inch coyote sitting at the door way with that same "masterpiece". This patch says: ART IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. If you get it I'm sure you'll love it.
