Operation Enduring Charlie Foxtrot Patch

2020 Pandemic Morale Patch

The Operation Enduring Charlie Foxtrot Patch marks the COVID-19 lockdown year the way troops mark a hard deployment: with a mock operation name and a dark sense of humor. "Charlie Foxtrot" is phonetic-alphabet shorthand for a situation that has gone thoroughly sideways, which summed up 2020 for most people. Tactical Gear Junkie designed it as the May 2020 Patch of the Month, and it suits anyone who wants a wearable reminder of that year on a cap, pack or jacket.

Features

• Face Mask Silhouette — The patch is cut in the shape of a respirator mask, with embroidered straps reaching out from each corner.
• Biohazard Over Virus Artwork — A biohazard symbol sits over a stitched coronavirus particle, framed by "Operation Enduring Charlie Foxtrot" lettering and "COVID 19" and "2020" on either side.
• Embroidered Construction — The design is stitched in thread rather than printed, so the lettering and artwork stand slightly raised from the base.
• Merrowed Border — A dense overlocked thread edge wraps the outline to keep the patch from fraying.
• Hook Fastener Backing — The back carries the hook side of a hook-and-loop fastener, so it presses onto any loop panel and peels off when you want to swap it.
• 3.5 x 3 Inch Size — At 3.5 inches wide by 3 inches tall (about 8.9 x 7.6 cm), it fits the standard loop panels found on caps, packs and plate carriers.
• Four Colorways — Choose Full Color on a white base, Black with white lettering, Coyote Brown in a tan field with olive text, or MultiCam, a multi-environment camouflage pattern.
• Made In America — The patch is produced in the United States.

Size and Attachment

The hook backing needs a loop surface to grip, the soft fuzzy side of a Velcro panel, which most tactical hats, backpacks, jackets and plate carriers already have. If your gear has no loop panel, you can sew one on or stitch the patch directly in place. The Coyote Brown and MultiCam versions blend with field kit, while Full Color and Black stand out on everyday bags and caps.
