Italian Army Field Trousers

These are genuine Italian Army combat trousers in Vegetato camouflage, the woodland pattern Italy adopted for general issue in 2001 and still fields with the Esercito (the Italian Army) and the Carabinieri. They were cut as everyday uniform trousers for woodland and mixed terrain, so they hold up to kneeling, crawling and long days outdoors. Collectors and reenactors building a modern Italian kit will want them, and so will hunters, campers and anyone who wants field pants made to an army's specification.

Features

• Vegetato Camouflage — Jagged blotches of chocolate brown, russet, olive green and khaki break up your outline against foliage and soil.
• Cotton-Nylon Ripstop — The fabric is woven with a reinforcing grid, so a small snag or tear cannot run across the leg.
• Six Pockets — Two slash front pockets, two flapped rear pockets and two flapped cargo pockets on the thighs.
• Flapped Cargo Pockets — The bellowed thigh pockets expand to take a map, gloves or a phone and keep their flaps closed over the load.
• Reinforced Seat and Knees — Extra fabric panels at the seat and knees strengthen the areas that take the most abrasion in the field.
• Button Closures — A button waist and button fly avoid the rasp of hook-and-loop, which matters when you need to stay quiet.
