Worth the weeks of homeworkI read up on this sling before I pulled the trigger and it paid off. The tan canvas is seriously heavy the brass fittings and rivets are clean and the sliding keeper adjusts smooth on my FAL build which measures out just like the description says.

Good sling for the moneyI dont usually write reviews but figured id throw one up since I almost went with that other brand thats twice the price. The heavyweight cotton canvas feels sturdy and the brass end fittings look like theyll hold up fine on my FAL build. Sliding keeper took me a second to figure out which direction it goes but once its set it stays put. Good value for a college kid on a budget honestly.
Shipped fast and came in a plain plastic bag, no complaints there.

A proper canvas sling that doesnt cost a fortuneIve been through like 4 different slings for my L1A1 build. The cheap nylon ones are okay but they just look wrong on a classic rifle. This one is the real deal. Heavyweight canvas, solid brass fittings, and the tan is pretty close to the original British ones Ive seen (maybe a hair lighter but itll darken with use). The stitching is straight and the rivets are set properly, no wierd loose threads. Only nitpick is the keeper was super stiff out of the box, had to work it back and forth a bunch to get it to slide smooth. But honestly thats better than it being loose. Mounted right up to my swivels with no fuss. For the price compared to some surplus originals that are all dry rotted, this is a no brainer. Came in a plain plastic bag, nothing fancy but it got here quick.
