Rothco's Long Length Camo BDU Shorts take the cut of the classic BDU, short for Battle Dress Uniform, the US military field uniform of the 1980s and 1990s, and shorten it into a warm-weather short with a longer leg. On the model they reach to about the knee, which gives more coverage than a standard cargo short. They suit range days, camp work, yard work and anyone who wants traditional woodland camo in a short.

Fabric And Fit

These are commercial shorts made by Rothco, not military surplus, so they arrive new. The cotton-polyester fabric and the six-pocket BDU layout follow the original uniform trousers, with a looser, straight leg that leaves room to move. With side adjustment tabs and belt loops, you can set the waist fit two ways.
