Finally Know My Actual Pull WeightsBeen using this on every gun I own since I got it. Tested my Geissele SSA-E and it was right at 3.5lbs like advertised which was cool to confirm. Also found out my Ruger GP100 was way heavier in DA than I thought, like 12+ lbs. Super easy to use, just clip it on and pull. Worth every penny if you tinker with triggers at all.
Works on rifles, pistols, shotguns — everything

Lyman does trigger gauge right!!A handy tool if you need to measure trigger pull weights. The battery compartment is snug for sure- challenging to seat the battery. Be sure and read the instructions; you have to hit the reset button twice before it measures. Seems accurate and consistent. If you want any better, you'd need to go to weights, and that's a lot more awkward to work with than this. Recommend 100%
