Features
- Built To Government Specifications — Cut and constructed to the original U.S. military M-65 pattern first issued in 1965, delivering the same field-proven silhouette.
- Water-Repellent Poly/Cotton Twill Shell — Durable outer fabric sheds wind, rain, sleet, and snow to keep you protected in changing conditions.
- Concealed Drawstring Hood — Roll-away hood stows inside the collar behind a hook-and-loop closure and deploys instantly when the weather turns.
- Four Snap-Flap Cargo Pockets — Two pleated bellows pockets on the chest and two on the waist provide serious storage for gear, gloves, and essentials.
- Heavy Brass Front Zipper With Storm Flap — Full-length brass zipper backed by a six-button snap storm flap seals out wind and locks in heat.
- Bi-Swing Back Design — Pleated bi-swing shoulders open up your range of motion for shouldering a rifle, swinging an axe, or driving all day.
- Hook-And-Loop Wrist Cuffs — Adjustable cuffs cinch down tight over gloves and include an internal hook tab for attaching shooting or work gloves.
- Adjustable Waist And Bottom Drawcords — Internal drawstrings at the waist and hem let you dial in the fit and block drafts from riding up under the jacket.
- Button-Down Shoulder Epaulets — Authentic military-style epaulets handle radio mics, sunglasses, and uniform accoutrements.
- Liner-Ready Construction — Interior buttons accept the Rothco quilted M-65 button-in liner (sold separately) to convert the shell into a true cold-weather coat.

Still the best all around jacket designI’ve owned real issue M-65s and a couple cheap knockoffs, and this Rothco black one sits right in the middle in a good way. Poly/cotton shell sheds light rain better than my old pure cotton surplus, pockets are huge, and the bi-swing back actually matters when your shouldering a rifle or hauling ammo cans. Ran it all fall without the liner and stayed comfortable down into the 40s with a hoodie underneath. Black hides range dust and gun oil stains way better than OD ever did for me.
