Authentic mil-spec goodness for the puristsFinally got my hands on one of these Springfield M2 bipods and I'm impressed. This is the real deal - attaches right to the gas cylinder just like the original military issue setup. Finish is parkerized and matches my M1A perfectly. Yeah it's not quick-detach like a Harris or Atlas (which I also own on other rifles) but that's not the point. This is for when you want that authentic Vietnam-era aesthetic, and it delivers. Lockup is solid, no wobble once mounted. Legs deploy smooth after working them in a bit. If you're building a retro M14 clone, this is basically mandatory equipment.

GreatThis M14 Bipod is ALL metal (No cheap Plastic) and is well made... I was not sure about clamping it to the gas tube because of accuracy problems, but it did not affect... All in all a good fit for someone who does not want to drill and screw a bipod on their walnut stock...
