MACE TakeDown OC-Foam Mk-III Spray

TakeDown OC Foam Mk-III

The Mace TakeDown OC-Foam Mk-III is a mid-size defensive canister that fires a foam stream instead of a mist or spray. It uses OC (oleoresin capsicum, the irritant compound extracted from hot peppers) to stop an attacker at a distance. The Mk-III size is a common duty-canister format, small enough for a belt holster or a vehicle door pocket and larger than a keychain unit.

Features

• OC Foam Formula — The contents leave the nozzle as a foam that sticks where it lands, so it tends to drift less in wind or indoors than a fine mist.
• OC 10 Formulation — The canister is labeled OC 10, Mace's designation for this TakeDown formula.
• Mk-III Canister Size — Mk-III is a standard duty-canister size class, so it fits holsters and pouches sized for Mk-III units.
• 2.36 oz Net Weight — Each canister holds 67 g (2.36 oz) net, or 67 mL (2.27 fl oz) of contents.
• Molded Top Actuator — A black polymer head with a blue nozzle sits on top of the can, and the nozzle direction is easy to confirm by sight before you press.
• Slim Cylindrical Can — The black aluminum-style body is narrow enough to hold in one fist with your thumb on the actuator.
• Mace TakeDown Line — TakeDown is Mace's professional-grade defensive spray range, marked clearly on the label for quick identification.

Size and Carry

The Mk-III format suits a duty belt, a pack strap pouch or a glovebox, and it holds more than a pocket-size canister. Foam needs a direct hit to work, so aim at the face and expect to follow through with distance. Pepper spray laws vary by state and city, so check the rules where you live and carry before you buy.
