Mechanix Wear Original Vent Covert Tactical Gloves

Ventilated All-Black Glove

The Original Vent Covert is Mechanix Wear's Original glove with a perforated, ventilated build, finished entirely in black. It is meant for work where you need to keep feel in your fingers and keep your hands from overheating: range days, vehicle and equipment work, and long hours under kit. The Covert colorway keeps every logo and panel tonal, so nothing light-colored or reflective stands out.

Features

• Covert All-Black Finish — The shell, logos, closure and trim are all black, giving a low-visibility look that matches black tactical kit.
• Ventilated Back Panel — Perforations across the back of the hand let heat and moisture escape, which is the point of the Vent version.
• Perforated Fingers — The finger panels are also perforated, adding airflow where hands tend to sweat most.
• Synthetic Fabric Construction — A blend of polyester, spandex and nylon keeps the glove light, and the spandex gives it stretch so it moves with your hand.
• Reinforced Thumb And Fingertips — Extra panels at the thumb and fingertips sit where a glove wears through first when handling tools or gear.
• Molded Wrist Closure — A molded tab with the Mechanix logo secures the cuff snugly at the wrist so the glove stays put.
• Pull Loop At The Cuff — A fabric loop on the side of the cuff makes the glove easier to pull on.
• Form-Fitting Cut — A close fit keeps excess material out of the way, so you keep dexterity for triggers, buckles and small parts.

Build And Fit

The glove is built from polyester, spandex and nylon, a lightweight synthetic mix chosen for stretch and breathability over insulation. That makes it a warm-weather and active-use glove, not a cold-weather one. It is offered in several sizes, and a snug fit is the intended feel, since a loose glove costs you grip and control.
