Features
- Heavy-Duty Nylon Outer Layer — A tough OD green nylon face resists tearing, ripping, and shredding the way cheap mylar space blankets fail.
- Aluminum Reflective Inner Layer — The silver aluminum side reflects up to 90% of your body heat to fight off hypothermia in an emergency.
- Six Reinforced Grommets — Six 2X-reinforced metal grommets let you stake out a tarp, rig a lean-to, or build a proper shelter with paracord.
- 5' x 7' Deployed Size — Opens to a full 5 by 7 feet (1.53m x 2.13m), big enough to wrap a body, cover gear, or string up overhead.
- 12-Ounce Packable Weight — At just 12 ounces (340g), it disappears into a pack, bug-out bag, or vehicle kit without weighing you down.
- True Multi-Purpose Build — Works as a ground cloth, tarp shelter, signaling panel, radiant heat barrier, or emergency wrap.
- Heat-Reflective Signaling — The aluminum face doubles as a high-visibility signal panel to flag down rescuers when you need to be seen.
- All-Weather Capable — Built to handle wind, rain, and cold so it earns its place in any season's kit.
- The Pathfinder School Engineered — Designed by Self Reliance Outfitters to be the strongest, most usable survival blanket on the market.

Way tougher than the cheap mylar blanketsIve got a drawer full of those crinkly space blankets that rip the second you unfold them so I wanted something I could actually reuse and this Pathfinder blanket is exactly that. Showed up new in the zippered bag, grommets in all four corners are beefy and well set, and the mylar side is welded to the nylon real good not just glued. Set it up as a lean to tarp in the backyard with some paracord and it shed a garden hose test no problem. At 12 ounces it lives in my bug out bag now. Only knock is I wish it was a touch bigger for a full shelter but for one person its plenty.
Real grommets, not the flimsy kind
Reflective side actually throws heat back
Packs small and lightA little small for a two person setup
