This is Ruger's own BX-25, a 25-round .22 LR magazine for the 10/22 rifle and several other Ruger rimfires that share its magazine well. The standard BX-1 rotary magazine holds 10 rounds, so the BX-25 means far fewer stops to reload on the range or plinking at cans. The translucent body lets you see how many rounds are left before you run dry.

Fit And Construction

The BX-25 has a curved box shape that locks into the same magazine well as the factory rotary magazine, so it needs no modification to any compatible rifle or pistol. Ruger pairs a polymer body and follower with steel feed lips, and the company says it feeds as reliably as the standard BX-1. Before ordering, confirm your rifle is chambered in .22 LR, because the American Rimfire and 77/22 are also made in other calibers this magazine will not fit.
