This is Ruger's own 12-round magazine for the LCP Max, the company's compact .380 ACP carry pistol. It holds a dozen rounds and has an extended base plate that gives your little finger somewhere to sit on a small grip. Carry it as a spare, or keep it in the gun for range and home use.

• Factory OEM Ruger Part — Made by Ruger for the LCP Max rather than by an aftermarket maker, so it matches the pistol's original specification (part number 90734).
• Blued Steel Body — The steel tube has a blued finish, a chemical treatment that darkens the metal and gives it some protection against rust.
• Extended Textured Base Plate — A polymer base plate extends below the tube, and its stippled side panels give you grip when you strip the magazine out or seat it.
• Numbered Witness Holes — Small holes in the body marked 5 and 10 let you check the round count at a glance without unloading.
• High-Tensile Steel Spring — The follower spring is high-tensile steel, so it keeps pushing rounds up into the feed position reliably.
• Factory Markings — The body is stamped with the Ruger logo and "380 AUTO" so you can pick out the right magazine in a range bag of mixed calibers.

Fit And Construction

This magazine fits Ruger LCP Max pistols. It is not interchangeable with magazines for the original LCP or LCP II. The steel tube has formed feed lips at the top that guide each cartridge into the chamber, and the polymer base plate takes the knocks of reloads and drops. As a factory Ruger part, it goes into the magazine well and locks the way the pistol was designed to.
