SABRE Red Pepper Foam - Mk-9

Mk-9 Pepper Foam

The SABRE Red Mk-9 is a full-size 16 oz pepper foam canister built for law enforcement crowd management and close-range defense. It sprays a foam rather than a mist or stream, and the foam clings to the target's face instead of drifting on the wind back toward the officer or bystanders. The pistol grip and safety pin are designed for a firm, deliberate draw from a duty belt or vehicle. The label is marked For Law Enforcement Only, so check your local regulations before buying.

Features

• 1.33% Major Capsaicinoids — Major capsaicinoids are the heat-producing compounds in the formula, and 1.33% is the figure that measures how strong the spray actually is.
• 10% Oleoresin Capsicum — Oleoresin capsicum (OC) is the resin extracted from hot peppers that carries the irritant, rated here at 2,000,000 SHU (Scoville heat units).
• Adhering Foam Delivery — The foam thickens on contact and sticks to the face, which limits blowback and cross-contamination in crowds or wind.
• 12 to 15 Foot Range — Effective reach lets the user engage a threat before it closes to arm's length.
• 16.0 oz Capacity — The canister holds enough for ten full one-second bursts before it runs empty.
• Pistol Grip Handle — A molded black handle with a yellow actuator gives a secure, gun-style hold and aims naturally.
• Lanyard-Tethered Safety Pin — A safety tab and pull pin prevent accidental discharge, and a lanyard keeps the pin attached to the unit so it cannot be lost.
• EID Compatible — The non-flammable, water-based formula can be used alongside electronic immobilization devices such as conducted energy weapons.
• UV Marking Dye — An ultraviolet dye in the formula helps identify a sprayed suspect afterward.
• Made In USA — SABRE manufactures this canister in the United States, as stated on the label.

Canister And Formula

This is part of SABRE's H2O Series, a water-based, non-flammable formula, packed in a black aluminum-style canister under SKU 92H2O60-F. Mk-9 is the large crowd-control size, too big for a pocket and intended for a belt holster, patrol vehicle or fixed station. The handle is screwed to the valve head, and a wire tamper seal shows whether the unit has been discharged. The rear label carries the full warnings and handling instructions.
