SABRE Red Phantom Evaporating Fog Delivery Tear Gas - Mk-4

Phantom OC Fog Canister

The SABRE Red Phantom Mk-4 is a 3.9 oz canister of OC, or oleoresin capsicum, the pepper-derived irritant. It sprays as a fog rather than a stream. The can is labeled as a law enforcement unit, and SABRE designed it as an extraction tool for clearing a subject out of a cell or other confined space. Phantom evaporates after deployment, so the area is easier to clean up than after a traditional fog formula.

Features

• 1.33% Major Capsaicinoids — Strength is rated by major capsaicinoids, the heat-producing compounds in the spray, which tells you more about potency than a raw OC percentage.
• HPLC Tested — The label carries an HPLC seal, meaning the heat level is checked by high performance liquid chromatography, a laboratory measurement method.
• Evaporating Fog Delivery — A fine fog reaches the subject's eyes, skin and airway, then evaporates instead of leaving a heavy residue behind.
• 3.9 oz Mk-4 Canister — The net 3.9 oz (117 mL) fill gives about fifteen full one-second bursts.
• 8 To 10 Foot Range — Effective range is 8 to 10 feet, and the label warns against spraying anyone closer than 3 feet (1 meter).
• Non-Flammable Formula — The contents are marked non-flammable on the front label.
• Electronic Immobilization Device Compatible — The label states the spray can be used alongside conducted electrical weapons such as stun devices.
• Made In USA — Manufactured by Security Equipment Corporation in Fenton, Missouri.

Storage And Handling

Shake the canister well before use. Store it between 32°F (0°C) and 120°F (50°C), because the contents are under pressure and can burst outside that range. Every can is printed with a manufacture date and an expiration date. Test spray performance periodically and replace the canister once it passes its expiration.
