SABRE 5.0 Law Enforcement Mk-2 Pepper Spray - Stream

Mk-2 OC Stream Unit

The SABRE 5.0 Mk-2 Stream is a compact 1.6 oz law enforcement OC spray built to fit on a duty belt or in a pocket. It fires a focused stream rather than a fog, which keeps the spray on target and cuts down on blowback onto the user. The canister is labelled as a Law Enforcement Unit, and the label states that training is required before use. That makes it a good fit for officers, corrections staff and security professionals working under a use-of-force policy.

Features

• 0.67% Major Capsaicinoids — This figure measures the heat-producing compounds in the spray, a more meaningful strength rating than the OC percentage alone.
• 5% OC, 2,000,000 SHU — The formula uses oleoresin capsicum (the active pepper extract) at 5%, rated at 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units.
• HPLC Guaranteed — The heat rating is verified by high-performance liquid chromatography, a lab test that confirms capsaicinoid content in each batch.
• Stream Spray Pattern — A narrow, directed stream reaches the target with less drift in wind than a cone or fog pattern.
• Non-Flammable Formula — The label rates it compatible with electronic immobilization devices such as conducted energy weapons, so it can be carried on the same belt.
• UV Marking Dye — An ultraviolet dye in the formula leaves a trace that helps identify a subject after contact.
• Flip-Top Actuator Cap — A hinged black polymer cover sits over the spray button and nozzle, guarding against accidental discharge in a holster or pocket.
• 1.6 oz Mk-2 Canister — The Mk-2 size is small enough to carry on a belt but holds enough for multiple short bursts.
• Dated For Service Life — Each canister is printed with its manufacture date and warranty expiration date so you can track when it needs replacing.
• Made In The USA — Manufactured by Security Equipment Corporation in Fenton, Missouri.

Use And Handling

The label directs half-second to one-second bursts across the subject's eyes from ear to ear, with no more than three bursts before moving to the next appropriate force option. Do not spray from closer than 3 feet (1 meter) or into the wind. The contents are under pressure, so keep the canister away from heat above 120°F (50°C). Test spray performance periodically and replace the unit once the printed expiration date passes.
