Safariland Disposable Double Handcuff

Double-Loop Flex Cuffs

The Safariland Disposable Double Handcuff is a flex cuff: a one-piece plastic restraint that goes on in seconds and is cut off when it is no longer needed. Two loops, one for each wrist, meet at a central locking block, so a single cuff secures both hands. This one is US Army issue, and it suits anyone who wants spare restraints in a kit, a vehicle or a training bag without the weight of steel cuffs.

Features

• Double-Loop Design — Two separate loops join at one block, so one cuff restrains both wrists instead of needing a pair of single ties.
• Central Locking Block — Each strap feeds through its own channel in the block, where it locks and will not pull back out.
• Ratcheting Strap — The textured strap tightens in one direction only, closing down in small steps so each loop can be sized to the wrist.
• Single-Use Restraint — The cuff is disposable by design and is cut off rather than unlocked, so there is no key to carry or lose.
• Lightweight Plastic Build — The one-piece construction is far lighter than steel cuffs, so several can be carried without adding noticeable weight.
• Flat, Packable Profile — The flexible loops lie flat, so spares fit in a cargo pocket, dump pouch or vehicle kit.
• Free Strap Tails — The strap ends extend past the block, giving you something to grip while drawing the loops tight.
• Light Gray Color — The pale off-white strap is easy to spot in a bag and easy to see on the wrists.
• US Army Issue — Made by Safariland and supplied to the US Army as originally issued government equipment.

Issue And Construction

This is genuine US Army issue made by Safariland, not a commercial copy, so you get the same restraint that went into military supply. The whole cuff is a single molded plastic piece with no metal parts, hinges or keys. That simple build is why flex cuffs are carried in numbers: they pack flat, weigh little and are ready to apply straight from the pocket.
