Incorporating a steel floor plate for maximum strength and horizontal finger grooves for a solid grip, this detachable magazine is a necessity for the serious SKS shooter. Designed to securely fit composite stocks, this magazine will work in wood stock variations with slight modification to the magazine opening. In order for the magazine to fit properly in the wooden stock version, the opening must be enlarged slightly for a proper fit. The bolt must be back in order to insert and remove the magazine. This item counts as 3 U.S. Sec 922R compliant parts.

Very nice accessory for the sks. It takes a little tinkering to put in place, but in the end makes it so much easier when you feed it with stripper clips. I use it on the original stock but i may have to try it with a Tapco stock too
I'm using a couple of these for my Chinese Sks in an SGWorks bullpup stock. They fit properly, but had a problem with the bolt not locking back after the last round. After some tinkering, I found a little bit of excess plastic was the culprit. After a few minutes of light sanding, everything works as it should.
I picked up a couple of these for my Romy SKS and they feed fine
My only problem with them is they are a bit difficult to instal and the bolt has to be open to get them in
I did find that having one of these installed in your SKS and a few stripper clips of ammo is the way to go
Changing mags is a real pain, refilling these with stripper clips while in the gun works just fine
Overall nice addition to a SKS if using Stripper clips to refill them in gun
Quick, Simple, Easy and they Work!
works good in sks rifles. only mag to buy if you want detached mags. perfect
I got this mag for my Chinese Type 56 with a Tapco T6 stock and it works like a champ. I know the mag was made for the stock but it feed and functions flawlessly and has absolutely no wobble. Better weight to capacity ratio than the detachable metal mags also.
Ordered last Wednesday had them at my door on Saturday. It looks great no problem fitting in my Yugo. I have a synthetic stock on and I can load it faster than the metal mag that came with the gun when I got it. I will be buying more.
Had to sand down inside of stock for clearance on my Russian SKS. Would not work before sanding too tight. Works fine now will order more Looks great also.
these were a good buy on my part. they worked as intended and are easier to use than stripper clips
Shipping on the item was excellent, it came in 2 days. The mag however was not working with my Yugo SKS, the rounds kept jamming just below the chamber, so now its a $20 decoration.
it is a great magazine to have you cant destroy them for nothing.the only problem is some of the wooden models you have to file the wood down for them but overall they r great if you have a newer stock the older ones take a little work i have 10 of these and they make loading a lot easier than stripper clips.
