This is a factory Smith & Wesson 12-round magazine for the M&P9 Compact pistol in 9mm. M&P9 Compact owners use it as a spare for range days and carry, or to replace a worn or lost original. Each one adds 12 rounds of ready capacity.

Features

• 12-Round Capacity — The magazine holds twelve 9mm cartridges, the standard load for the M&P9 Compact.
• 9mm Chambering — It is built for 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm, and is marked "9mm" on the side of the body.
• Numbered Witness Holes — Holes down both sides, marked 4 through 12, show how many rounds are loaded without emptying the magazine.
• Factory Smith & Wesson — The S&W logo is stamped into the body, so this is the manufacturer's own part and not an aftermarket copy.
• Dual-Side Catch Cutouts — The magazine has a catch slot on each side, so it locks in whether the pistol's release is set up for a right- or left-handed shooter.
• Light-Colored Follower — The follower, the spring-driven platform that pushes rounds up into the pistol, is a pale color that is easy to see when the magazine is empty.
• Black Base Pad — A black polymer floorplate closes the bottom and gives your palm a flat surface for seating the magazine.
• Black Metal Body — The tube has a black finish and molded ribs running down each face.

Smith & Wesson sized this magazine for the M&P9 Compact frame. Check your pistol's model and caliber before ordering, because M&P magazines are not interchangeable across every size and chambering.
