M&P22 Spare Magazine
This is a 12-round .22 LR replacement magazine for the full-size Smith & Wesson M&P22 pistol, made by United Defense and sold under the KeepShooting brand. Rimfire shooters go through magazines fast at the range, and one or two spares mean more time shooting and less time reloading between strings. It also replaces a lost or worn factory magazine.
Features
- 12-Round Capacity — Holds twelve rounds of .22 LR, the same capacity as the standard M&P22 magazine.
- Steel Body — The magazine tube is bright steel, which keeps its shape and feeds consistently through repeated loading.
- Polymer Follower — The follower, the platform the spring pushes up under the rounds, is polymer for smooth travel inside the tube.
- Side Loading Assist Button — A button on the side slides down to pull the follower against spring tension, so you can drop rounds in without fighting the spring or straining your thumb.
- Witness Slot — An open slot down the side shows how many rounds are left without unloading the magazine.
- Black Polymer Base Pad — The extended baseplate gives you something to grip when seating or pulling the magazine and helps protect the bottom of the tube if it drops.
- 10-Round Limiter Included — A limiter cylinder is supplied that cuts capacity to ten rounds where local rules require it.
- Factory-Spec Dimensions — Built to the factory magazine's dimensions so it seats and locks like the original.
Fit and Compatibility
This magazine fits the full-size Smith & Wesson M&P22 pistol. It is not compatible with the M&P15-22 rifle, which uses a different magazine. Check your firearm before ordering, as similarly named S&W .22 models do not all share magazines.

runs greatI needed an extra mag for my M&P22 so I could spend more time shooting and less time reloading at the range and this thing delivered. I was a little nervous buying a non-OEM magazine but honestly it locks in and releases just like my original. Read up that you should feed one round at a time with these instead of trying to cram a bunch in at once and ever since I do that its been PERFECT.
Locks up and drops free just like OEM
Needs to be broken in but works great after 50 rounds or so.

Affordable, reliable aftermarket magazine.This magazine works perfectly in my M&P22. It feeds every round without a jam and is a great value.
Much cheaper than factory magazines; stainless steel body is durable.

Not a good choiceI purchased 3 of these to maximize my savings, but in the end it'll cost me more. 2 of the 3 work, but need to be hard-pulled out when emptied. Maybe in time and with multiple polishings they'll come around, but I took a measurement of the mags compared to OEM and these are fat, especially at the top. The third mag will not even work, the plastic inside is too large to allow me to slightly squeeze the top of the mag to fit (as I did with the working 2 mags). Glad to hear so many of you had success - I'll stick with OEM - these are just too half-baked for reliability. For the price, I honestly wish they had worked.
