Gear-Driven Pliers

The SOG PowerLock Professional is a full-size multi-tool built around a pair of needlenose pliers driven by gears at the pivot. The pliers, blade, saw, drivers and other implements all fold into two stainless steel handles. It suits a range bag, a vehicle kit or a belt, anywhere you would otherwise carry a separate set of pliers, a knife and screwdrivers. The black finish keeps it low-glare and matches most tactical kit.

Build And Carry

This is a commercial SOG tool, model B61N-CP, with the handle stamped PowerLock and patent number 5809599. The pliers head rotates out from between the handles on its gears, so the handle edges never wrap around your palm the way a flip-open design can. Folded, every implement tucks inside the handles and the whole tool drops into the supplied nylon sheath.
