Saw-Back Field Machete

The SOG Sogfari is a machete for clearing a trail, cutting brush at camp and processing wood. It does that with one tool: the edge chops through vines and light growth, and the saw teeth along the spine cut branches that are too thick to hack through cleanly. It suits campers, hunters, landowners and anyone who keeps a cutting tool in the truck or the bug-out kit.

Features

• Saw-Tooth Spine — Aggressive teeth run along most of the back of the blade, so you can flip the machete over and saw through limbs instead of chopping at them.

Build And Carry

The blade is marked SOG Sogfari near the handle and is fixed to the grip with visible fasteners at front and rear. The handle shape follows the hand, with the guard at the front and the hooked pommel at the back, so the machete stays put through a long session of chopping. When you are done, it slides into the included sheath, and the retention strap closes over the grip for carrying in a pack or vehicle.
