Kukri Chopping Machete

The Cold Steel Kukri Machete puts a traditional kukri profile on a working machete for clearing brush, cutting saplings and splitting light wood at camp. A kukri blade bends forward and widens toward the tip, which moves the weight out where it hits, so each swing chops harder than a straight blade of similar size. It suits campers, hunters, landowners and trail crews who want one big blade for heavy outdoor cutting.

Build And Carry

The blade is stamped with the Cold Steel South Africa marking just ahead of the handle. The grip fits tight against the blade at the front and flares out at the back, so it sits securely in a gloved or bare hand. When you are not using it, the sheath's snap-fastened belt loop takes the long blade off your hands, and the reinforced tip cap keeps the point from wearing through the nylon.
