Sterile Burn Dressing

This is a US Army-issue sterile burn sheet, a large dressing you unfold to cover a burned area too big for an ordinary bandage. It keeps the burn covered and clean while the casualty is moved to proper care. It is made by North Safety Products under part number 15-48-55. It belongs in a vehicle kit, a range bag, a workshop or a unit aid bag, and it suits collectors building out a period-correct medical kit.

Field Medical Issue

This dressing came through US Army supply channels as a standard first aid component, made by North Safety Products, a long-standing maker of safety and first aid supplies. The flat pouch packs easily into an aid bag, glove box or medical pouch. You will need safety pins or tape to secure the sheet once it is applied, and these are not included in the pack.
