Streamlight ProTac HPL USB Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight

Rechargeable Duty Light

The Streamlight ProTac HPL USB is a full-size tactical flashlight that you recharge from a USB cable instead of buying disposable batteries. HPL stands for high power, long range, and the large head with its deep reflector is built to push light down a road, across a yard or into a treeline. It suits patrol officers, security staff, hunters and anyone who wants one reliable light for the truck, the nightstand or the duty belt.

Features

• USB Rechargeable — A micro-USB port sits just behind the head, so you can top the light up from a wall adapter, vehicle charger or power bank.
• TEN-TAP Programmable — Streamlight's TEN-TAP system lets you change the switch programming by tapping the switch, so you can set the light to work the way you prefer.
• Tail Cap Switch — The switch sits at the tail, where your thumb lands in a standard overhand or under-pistol grip.
• Deep Smooth Reflector — The wide, polished reflector focuses the beam into a concentrated hotspot for long-distance work.
• Finned Head — Machined rings around the head add surface area to help shed heat during extended use on high output.
• Knurled Body — A diamond-pattern knurl, a textured grip cut into the metal, runs along the body and tail cap for a sure hold with wet or gloved hands.
• Pocket Clip — A steel clip carries the light in a pocket or clipped to a vest, bag strap or waistband.
• Heat Warning Markings — HOT symbols on the bezel remind you that the head can warm up after a long run on high.

Build and Design

Streamlight built the ProTac HPL USB around a black finished metal body with a serial number etched beside the model name. The layout is simple: a large reflector head, a slimmer knurled grip section and a tail switch, so it handles like a conventional tactical light. Because it charges by USB, it suits people who would rather plug in overnight than keep a stock of spare cells on hand.
