These US Army thermal knit gloves are made with Kevlar, the aramid fiber known for resisting heat and cuts. The terry loop knit gives a thick, cushioned layer between your hand and whatever you are handling. They suit shop work, camp cooking, handling hot gear, or any job where bare hands or thin cotton gloves would not be enough. Collectors of issued US kit will also want a pair.

Features

• Kevlar Aramid Yarn — Yellow Kevlar strands, a synthetic aramid fiber valued for heat and cut resistance, run through the entire knit.
• Terry Loop Knit — A looped pile, similar in texture to a towel, traps air for insulation and adds padding across the palm and fingers.
• Blended Tan And Yellow Yarn — The Kevlar is knit together with a tan yarn, which gives the gloves their heathered tan and yellow look.
• Knitted Five-Finger Shape — Each finger is knit separately, so you keep more dexterity than you would in a mitt or pot holder.
• Overlocked Cuff Edge — White overlock stitching, a wrapped edge seam, finishes the wrist opening and keeps the knit from unraveling.
• Knit Wrist Opening — The cuff is knit in with the glove body and slides on easily over the hand.

These gloves came through US Army supply, and they are built to the same specification the service used. The shell is one continuous Kevlar blend terry knit with no leather or rubber coating, so the fibers and loop pile do all the work. Because nothing is sewn on, the gloves stay flexible and simple to care for. They fill the gap between a light work glove and a bulky insulated gauntlet.
