Winchester Q4172 9mm Ammunition

White Box 9mm Range Ammo

Winchester Q4172 is 9mm Luger target ammunition from the Winchester USA White Box line, packed 50 rounds to a box. It loads a 115-grain full metal jacket bullet, the standard practice load that shooters buy in quantity for range sessions, drills and matches. If you own a 9mm pistol or pistol-caliber carbine and need dependable ammunition for training, this is the load built for that job.

Features

• 9mm Luger Cartridge — Also known as 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, it is the most common handgun cartridge in the US and fits any firearm chambered for it.
• 115-Grain Bullet — Grain is the standard unit of bullet weight (7,000 to the pound), and 115 grains is the lighter, faster weight class for 9mm with comparatively mild recoil.
• Full Metal Jacket — A copper jacket wraps the lead core and covers the round nose, which helps the bullet feed smoothly from the magazine into the chamber.
• 1190 FPS Muzzle Velocity — The bullet leaves the muzzle at a rated 1190 feet per second, though actual speed varies with barrel length.
• 362 Ft-Lbs Muzzle Energy — Rated energy at the muzzle is 362 foot-pounds.
• Brass Cases — The cartridges use brass cases, the traditional case material for centerfire handgun ammunition.
• 50 Rounds Per Box — Each box holds 50 centerfire cartridges, a practical quantity for a single range trip.
• Made In USA — The box is marked Made in USA and carries Winchester's target designation.

Fit And Compatibility

These rounds fire in any pistol, carbine or submachine gun marked and chambered for 9mm Luger, 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum. They are not interchangeable with 9mm Makarov, .380 ACP (sometimes called 9mm Kurz) or .38 Super, so check the marking on your barrel or slide before loading. The round-nose FMJ bullet is intended for target shooting and training, not for hunting or personal defense.
