Yugoslav AK Bayonet

This is an issued Yugoslavian AK-pattern bayonet from Serbian Army stores, supplied with its matching black scabbard. It mounts under the muzzle of a Yugoslav Kalashnikov-type rifle, and off the rifle it works as a fighting and utility knife. The blade's slot and the scabbard's steel tip combine into a wire cutter. Collectors of Eastern Bloc and Balkan military kit, AK owners building out a period-correct rifle, and reenactors are the people who look for this piece.

Features

• Bright Steel Clip-Point Blade — The single-edged blade has a clip point, where the spine sweeps down toward the tip, which makes it suited to both thrusting and general cutting.
• Saw-Back Spine — A row of fine teeth along the top edge of the blade lets you rough-cut rope, cord or small wood.
• Wire-Cutter Slot — The oval slot near the tip fits over the stud on the scabbard, so blade and scabbard hinge together and close like a pair of shears on wire.
• Muzzle Ring Crossguard — The steel ring on the crossguard slips over the rifle's muzzle to hold the front of the bayonet in line with the barrel.
• Locking Steel Pommel — The slotted steel pommel engages the bayonet lug under the barrel and carries a screw-adjusted catch to hold the bayonet in place on the rifle.
