Very durable cordage with many many many application options! I recommend for all tactical, outdoor/ hiking needs, survival applications, outdoor/hunting applications (no, really!). If you live/ travel in any harsh climates, the more robust the material the better. I think all cordage can break/ fray over time. You can cut paracord up into many applications like tent/ shelters, cord lock (to keep gear tight), suture (tactical use), grip cord for small weapons. So the tactical potential of the Rothco Cabela’s Ed paracord makes the product stand out from competitors. It is NOT rope (there is no reinforcement). I personally recommend 550 lb cordage (which does come off the spool in different colors but for any normal sized use - it will serve you well. A lot of military and recreational usage of cordage requires heavier weight. It has been very useful and worth it.

It’s just a couple of feet of line for the truck but we use it a lot for securing a load. Never had a snag or cutoff. Just about 5 bucks. You can’t beat it. And you can use a 25 cent marker to number it if you want. Buy lots and you’ll always have the right color. I always order 10 at a time so I can dye some of it. A black truck always gets people pulling out in front of you, then when you honk they give you the big old black guy hand. That tells me it’s a white truck. They should have some damn common sense.

<p>Its freaking paracord, bright orange. Its more than strong enough to hold up a tarp and highly visible so you dont clothesline yourself walking around camp.<br />Make sure to cut the rope with a hot blade/putty knife or you can melt the ends with lighter, fire, stove, etc as long as you dont mind ugly ends.<br />Ill take their word on the length as I dont feel like measuring this out..</p>
