How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

This is the perfect "tactical short" that looks like it's based off the original woodland pattern cargo shorts of the 80s/90s...and then made 100x better. It is so durable that it could replace jeans and khakis for everyday wear and can stand up to everything from daily wear, hiking, camping, and general everyday activity

Not Quite A Woodland Camo but Different...

This item shipped in one day and was delivered in two days. I am a size 38 waist and ordered a large. I would call the fit loose. There is no designated button-fly but the front opening has buttons that make for a secure fit. These look a little like the woodland camo of my youth but with a very subtle look that is different from that other popular camo. It's definitely an improvement.

I've worn my BDU's in service & I love them. I also love these, but the button will not hold for very long. After one month they have fallen off. Other than that, love them. The 5 Star thing has got to go! To many things that don't deserve 5 Stars, when this shorts had 5 Stars, it was because people thought it was for sex & got mad when they got their size & the meaning of 5 Stars.

My husband wears these all the time, except when we go out to dinner, as I told him, these shorts look like you wear them everyday and sit around in your basement all day, in short he looks like he is ready for a combat exercise. But then I would say that about any cargo type shorts. We do wear this around the yard.

When I first got these I didn't even know they were different, my first shorts had black on the knees, these have black only on the knees but they have my name and rank on them so they seem brand new to me. Just the size was off by a couple inches so it fits better, no issues with it.

They're good fitting shorts. They're just your regular bdu pants that are a little bit shorter than normal. So yeah, it fits, it looks pretty good. They're pretty much like a normal pair of BDU pants but with a little more movement than the full length BDU pants have.
