Installation Notes

The bolt catch roll pin is one of the easier pins on a lower receiver to damage or to use to scratch the finish. Support the receiver ears from below with a bench block so they do not flex, start the pin with a roll pin holder or starter punch, and drive it home with a correctly sized roll pin punch rather than a flat punch, which can mushroom the end. Keeping a spare on hand means a bent pin will not hold up a build.
