The AIM Sports AR15 Roll Pin Punch is a single-purpose tool for driving roll pins (hollow, split spring pins) into and out of an AR-15 lower receiver. Its long shank reaches across the top of the magazine well to the bolt catch roll pin, a job where a short punch tends to slip and leave marks on the receiver. It belongs in the kit of anyone building or servicing their own lower.

Fit And Use

Lay the shank across the top of the magazine well, seat the pilot tip in the end of the bolt catch roll pin, and tap the rear with a small hammer. The pilot holds the pin on line as it starts, which is where most scratched receivers and bent pins come from. The punch suits AR-15 pattern lowers and other roll pins of a similar small diameter.
