These mags work great! They lock in and drop out when released. A nice step up from the usual steel circle 10 mags. They are also less prone to failures when shooting heavy rounds such as steal core. I highly recommend them.
Just wish the bans would go away.

This magazine functions as intended and is built solid. I have yet to put it through a full length fire, however, as my Galil only came with one, I needed a replacement. So far, the build is good and sturdy, it fits my PPS perfect and the capacity and style give me extra cool. Overall this magazine has fulfilled my needs so far, though if the opportunity presented itself, I'd buy another one

This Magazine holds a forty rounds in steel, and only weighs in at 13.3oz! This forty round AK-47 Magazine makes for a perfect “carbine length” build. It adds an extra ten inches to your Kalashnikov’s butt-pad. It comes ready to go, right out of the packaging. There’s a small slot, just in front of the locking lug, for a thin pry bar or butter knife. I use a Maglula M3 Speed Loader. Just make a full cycle in the rifle, then load it into your AK. You’ll hear the Maglula snap and lock it into place. Just remember to do the full cycles with live ammo. I keep it ready to roll in the range bag. It doesn’t take up any range time. It stays ready in my get home bag. You don’t need more firepower in your car than in your home. Keep your full power in your home and ready to go, but keep some “Cali Clips” ready to roll in your automobile. 40 round magazine in a lightweight polymer... Sweet-n-Simple!

The magazines are great for hunting with an akm and a snore comp. Easy loading for a snore without bolt hold open, same for ak but I put the flathead downrange and use my little thumb so I don't hurt my finger on the knurled edges while hunting
