Be Decisive Morale Patch

Be Decisive PVC Patch

This 5ive Star Gear morale patch carries the line "Be Decisive, Not A Flat Squirrel" over a cartoon squirrel diving clear of a tire tread. Morale patches are the unofficial side of a kit: a bit of humor on a plate carrier, pack, cap or range bag that says something about the person wearing it. This one suits anyone who has hesitated at the wrong moment and lived to joke about it.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is formed from flexible PVC, a rubbery plastic that holds raised detail and won't fray at the edges the way embroidered patches can.
• Sewn-On Hook Backing — The hook side of a hook-and-loop fastener is stitched directly to the back, so the patch presses onto any loop panel and peels off again when you want to swap it.
• Subdued Gray Colorway — White lettering and a gray squirrel sit on a gray field with a black border, a muted palette that blends with most kit colors.
• Raised Relief Design — The squirrel, tire tread and lettering are molded at different heights, giving the artwork texture you can feel.
• Compact Size — At approximately 2.5 x 2 inches, it fits a standard loop field on a cap, sleeve pocket or pouch.
• Stain Resistant — The PVC surface sheds dirt and grime and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
• Lightweight — It weighs around 0.10 lb, so it adds next to nothing to whatever it rides on.
• Rounded Corners — The rounded rectangular shape is less likely to snag or lift at the corners than a square-cut patch.

Backing and Fit

The hook backing works with any loop-faced surface, including the loop panels on plate carriers, backpacks, tactical caps, and the shoulder pockets on many field shirts and jackets. If your gear has no loop field, a sew-on or adhesive loop panel gives it one. Because PVC is flexible, the patch follows a curved surface such as a cap front without cracking.
