BoomDock Gun Safe

Quick-Access Long Gun Dock

The BoomDock from BoomStix is a wall-mounted steel lockbox that holds a home-defense rifle or shotgun upright. The receiver sits inside a locked box while the barrel and stock stay outside it. The gun stays secured and within reach, so you are not spinning a dial on a full-size safe when every second counts. It suits anyone who keeps a long gun ready at home and wants it locked up, not leaning in a closet.

Features

• Steel Lockbox Enclosure — A black-finished steel housing closes around the receiver, the central body of the gun that holds the action and magazine well.
• Front Keypad Lock — A keypad on the door face opens the box with a code, so there is no key to find in the dark.
• Full-Length Piano Hinge — A continuous hinge bolted along the door edge supports the door over its whole height instead of at two or three points.
• Adjustable Padded Clamps — Two felt-faced blocks on an aluminum rail slide into position and lock down with hand knobs to grip the firearm without marring the finish.
• Adjustable Lower Bracket — A slotted aluminum bracket with a locating pin can be set at different points along the floor of the box to suit the gun you are docking.
• Rifle And Shotgun Fit — The dock is shown holding both an AR-style rifle and a pump-action shotgun, so the clamps work with more than one platform.
• Vertical Wall Mounting — The firearm hangs barrel up and stock down against the wall, taking up very little floor or closet space.
• Made In The USA — BoomStix builds the BoomDock in the United States.

Build And Fit

The box is folded steel with a black finish, and the clamp rail and lower bracket are bare aluminum hardware held with exposed bolts. The clamps and bracket adjust, so you set the BoomDock to your own firearm before mounting rather than buying a model-specific holder. Because the barrel and stock sit outside the box, check that the wall location has clearance above and below for the full length of your rifle or shotgun.
