Desert DPM Hydration Pack

This is a British Army issue CamelBak hydration pack in Desert DPM camouflage. A hydration pack carries a water reservoir on your back and feeds it through a tube to a valve at your mouth, so you can drink on the move without stopping to dig out a bottle. It suits patrols, long hikes, range days and anyone building a British desert-era loadout.

Features

• Desert DPM Camouflage — The outer cover is printed in Desert DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material), the British Army's two-tone desert camouflage before Multi-Terrain Pattern replaced it.
• CamelBak Mil-Spec Branding — A CamelBak logo patch sits on the front of the cover, marking it as the maker's military line.
• Covered Drinking Tube — The drink tube runs inside a tan fabric sleeve that helps protect it from snags and from the sun.
• Bite Valve With Shut-Off — You drink by biting down on the mouthpiece, and a separate black shut-off valve closes the line so it does not leak when the pack is not in use.
• Adjustable Shoulder Straps — Padded-top shoulder straps adjust through webbing and buckles to set the pack high or low on your back.
• Sternum Strap — A clip-together chest strap joins the shoulder straps and stops them sliding off your shoulders when you move.
• Quick-Release Buckles — Buckles at the top and bottom of the pack let you fasten it to a vest or other load-carrying kit as well as wearing it on its own.
• D-Rings And Grab Handle — D-rings on the shoulder straps give clip points for the tube or small kit, and a webbing loop at the top works as a carry handle.
• Zipped Front Cover — Zips on the front of the cover give access to the reservoir inside for filling and removal.

Issue Specification

This pack is original British Army kit, built by CamelBak to military order rather than for the civilian shelf. The back panel and strapping are in plain tan webbing and fabric, while the outer shell carries the Desert DPM print. For collectors and reenactors it fills the hydration slot of a desert DPM loadout correctly, and for field use it is a simple, proven way to carry water hands-free.
