This is my third Alpha Jacket and they are great! The sizing is right and they have lots of space inside for layering. The insulated model I bought had removable fuzz filling that will keep you toasty warm in 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Buy one!

Excellent Parka and with proper care this piece of history will last you a long time. If the buttons seem like they are starting to fail replace them with genuine WWII or USGI ones as this is a necessity to get a long life from the coat. This was a great fit. Fit well and good value. The sleeves are a bit long. Not sure why these are made that way but no biggie. Washed and dryer safe as well. It's very lightweight but still water resistant.

Great parka for this winter. It's warm and seems very durable, so much so that it is very waterproof. The fur around the hood could have been deeper, as it would help to protect your ears and lower face from the cold.

Ordered this jacket because it is made to wear under other parkas. The XL fits well and has plenty of room to wear an extra layer. The only problem is that the shipping took forever. My understanding is that it comes from Europe, and shipping was more than two weeks. If it hadn't, I would have been very happy with this purchase.
