    I love the way that the back is an actual velcro backing and isn't just iron on material like most velcro patches. The material feels like rubber, which makes sense considering the nature of this type of patch, but it also feels a bit soft and doesn't feel cheap at all. I'm sure that this could be easily re-secured with some pins or another stitching, but as is, it seems very sturdy. As an extra cool fact: I used it as the top layer on my sons snorkeling mask for swimming with alligators at the lake. The boys all have the masks and the shorts and hats and gloves that come with the sets. It made us laugh, and the guys thought it was awesome. It worked out perfectly for them, since that snorkeling outing went really well and they got to do some real "crawl 'n paddle" exploring of the swamp, instead of standing on shore taking potshots at teenage idiots. *Please note that this is in fact only a swim mask and not actually designed to withstand a close range gator charge.* All good in Florida! ;)
