Canceled PVC Morale Patch

Mushroom Cloud Patch

The Cancelled PVC Morale Patch from Mil-Spec Monkey puts a mushroom cloud over the word CANCELED, a deadpan joke about plans going up in smoke. A morale patch is a non-regulation patch worn to add some personality to issued or personal kit, and this one is sized for the loop panels found on plate carriers, packs, range bags and caps. It suits anyone who wants a dry sense of humor on their gear without adding a bright, reflective badge.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is cast from flexible PVC, a rubbery plastic that holds its shape and shrugs off rain and mud better than embroidered thread.
• Raised 3D Design — The cloud, stem, shockwave ring and ground smoke are molded at different heights, so the artwork has real depth.
• CANCELED Lettering — Bold block capitals across the bottom spell out the punchline under the blast.
• Hook-Backed Attachment — Hook fastener sewn to the back, the stiff half of a hook-and-loop closure, presses onto any loop-faced panel and peels off when you want to swap it.
• Low-Reflectivity Matte Finish — The surface is matte rather than glossy, so it does not throw back glare in sunlight.
• Subdued Earth-Tone Colors — Olive green, tan and dark brown keep the design muted and in line with green and earth-tone gear.
• 2.3 x 3 Inch Size — At 2.3 x 3 inches (about 5.8 x 7.6 cm), it fits the small loop fields on caps, pouches and shoulder panels.
• Clipped-Corner Shape — The top corners are cut at an angle, giving the patch a plate-like outline with a raised border around the edge.

PVC Build And Fit

Mil-Spec Monkey molds this patch in layered PVC with a dark brown border framing the artwork, and the hook backing is stitched around the perimeter rather than glued. It attaches to any surface with a loop field, which covers most plate carriers, chest rigs, backpacks, admin pouches and tactical caps. If your gear has no loop panel, you will need a loop-backed adapter or a sewn-on loop strip to mount it.
