Cold Steel Competition Throwing Axe

Buy it you wont regret it. This axe is amazing and so well balanced it's amazing.

Very dull came pretty close to sending them back but took a cheap pocket knife and honed the bevels and was able to get it throwable.

These things are just so much fun! Great for any Axe Throwing League, Camping or in a Backyard Challenge! Just know that they need a bit of oil on the edge and sharpen them every once in a while! And of course ALWAYS be safe and make sure you know the safety rules! You will not regret this purchase at all! It is very high quality and you won't regret buying this product at all. I guarantee it!

This axe is amazing! It is super durable, and super light weight. The perfect balance.

First impression, and based on very limited use: this little hatchet packs a big wallop. It's a very short axe (compared to my 3lbs camp hatchet) and the axe head feels light. That may be misleading. The handle seems very solid, which makes the light axe head feel much more substantial. The handle feels perfect in my grip. My only quibble is that the "finger guard" is kind of awkward and may interfere with use of some knives. My plan is to throw this and have fun!

Great throwing tool, BUT do not throw. You need to reshape the throwing spike, because right now it has an aggressive sharp curve, like those knives on TV shows. They cut right into flesh and skin. This is not a good axe for novices, even though they come with gloves, the axes can still cut you, not like an older tradition, hand thrown axe with wood stick handle.

Bought this as an all purpose camp axe. Was really surprised at the quality. Haven't tested the cutting power but i would assume it's decent for the purpose i bought it for, camping. Aiming to eventually try some wood carving. For me it could use some flexibility in the blade. I find it to be a little stiff and bounces a little when thrown.

I have been throwing these axes for years and they are great. They are very sharp right out of the box and hold up well over time.

I have bought several of these and use them as practice axes. They are very durable and well made.

The axe head was very sharp when I received it but it has since dulled some due to me throwing it. Overall this is a good product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight throwing axe.

These are great practice axes. They're not very sharp but they do the job.

This is a great axe to throw and practice with! It has a nice weight and balance to it and I've had no issues with the head coming off or anything like that. The only downside is the edge isn't as sharp as I would have liked but other than that its a good buy!

This is great for practicing throwing axes and learning to throw them well. It’s light weight so it won’t hurt you when you miss. I use this as my primary axe for practice.

I have been throwing this axe for about 6 months now and it has held up very well. The handle does come loose from time to time but it's not too hard to fix. It is great for practice as it will hold up pretty good when you are learning how to throw axes.
