Colt Single Action Army 45 .177 Nickel Air Pistol

Colt SAA Air Revolver

This Umarex air pistol reproduces the Colt Single Action Army, the revolver most people picture when they think of the Old West, and shoots .177 caliber ammunition. It suits backyard plinking, cowboy-style target practice and collectors who want the Peacemaker look without the cost and paperwork of a cartridge firearm. The nickel finish and cream-colored grips give it the presentation-gun appearance of a dressed-up frontier sidearm.

Features

• Single-Action Operation — You thumb the hammer back before each shot, then a light trigger press releases it, the same manual rhythm as the original Colt.
• .177 Caliber — Chambered for .177, the most common air gun caliber, so ammunition is easy to find.
• Nickel Finish — The frame, cylinder and barrel carry a bright silver finish that matches the plated revolvers of the period.
• Cream-Colored Grips — Smooth light grip panels set off the nickel metalwork and fill the hand like the classic plow-handle grip.
• Licensed Colt Markings — Colt lettering on the barrel and the rampant colt logo on the frame mark it as an officially licensed replica.
• Fluted Cylinder — The cylinder has the grooved profile and visible chambers of the original revolver design.
• Ejector Rod Housing — A full-length ejector rod housing runs beneath the barrel, as on the original revolver.
• Fixed Sights — A blade front sight at the muzzle and a groove along the top of the frame give the simple, period-correct sight picture.

Design And Handling

Umarex built this pistol to look and handle like a Single Action Army, from the long hammer spur to the curved grip and trigger guard. Cocking the hammer for every shot slows you down in a useful way, which makes it good practice for sight alignment and trigger control. It is a solid choice for fans of Western films, single-action shooters who want low-cost practice at home, and anyone building a replica collection.
