The DPx H.E.S.T. or Hostile Environment Survival Tool is the knife that started it all for the DPx Gear line. Designed by Robert Young Pelton based on his experience operating in over 36 conflict zones. The DPX HEST is an all original, brutal-use, every day carry fixed survival blade that is made in America and used worldwide by professionals operating in the most dangerous places in the world.
The DPX HEST Knife changed the way professionals thought of a survival blade. Each part of the HEST had to be useful and it couldn't fail when deployed as the end user could face injury or death in conflict zones.
